I decided to walk back to the hotel which was quite a bit longer than I thought - and 1 and a half hours later I finaly arrived - however the good thing was that I found the Wholefoods supermarket and bought some delicious ribs for dinner with actual cooked veges.
Tomorrow I am off to Upper New York to see Strawberry Fields and where John Lennon was killed. I don't think I will try walking back from thers though!
